SERVICE OF PROCESS

In light of the unprecedented COVID-19 virus and the Governor’s Executive Orders N-25-20, N-29-20, and N-33-20, for the duration of the emergency the California Board of Forestry and Fire Protection (Board) will be unavailable to accept personal service of process. In lieu of personal service, the Board consents and commits to accepting service of process by means of the “notice and acknowledgment” process in California Code of Civil Procedure section 415.30. To complete service of process, please mail the summons, the complaint, and the notice and acknowledgement required by Section 415.30, subdivision (b), to the following address:
