Fire Risk Reduction Communities List

About

The Fire Risk Reduction Communities List, as mandated by PRC 4290.1, is "a list of local agencies located in a state responsibility area or a very high fire hazard severity zone...that meet best practices for local fire planning." The List will be developed and maintained by the Board, with the first iteration available on this page no later than July 1, 2022.

To Apply

Local agencies wishing to apply for the List should download the application form and submit the completed application form to LandUsePlanning@bof.ca.gov no later than April 1, 2022.

Additional application materials as required should be submitted in the Box application portal no later than April 1, 2022. Please create a new folder containing your application materials and title it with the name of your local agency.
